CLASSES

 

VINYASA FLOW

Vinyasa Flow classes are an inspiring blend of fun flow rooted in traditional alignment, with a focus on feeling, breath, integrity, and core strength. Vinyasa yoga provides the space for people to explore their power, delight their spirit, move with their breath, and go deeper into their True Self. Classes include a blend of flowing and heat-inducing movements and will include a blend of standing poses, arm balances, twists, hip-openers back bends and more. Classes will leave you feeling aligned internally and externally and in a blissful state of being.

 

SLOW FLOW YOGA

Slow Flow Yoga is appropriate for all levels. Slow flow yoga will help you find delight and comfort in your body’s strength, flexibility and vitality. Expand your capacity to cultivate greater awareness and opening as you breathe and move more freely with clarity and grace.

 

YIN YOGA

Allow your body to be supported (by bolsters, blocks, blankets, the earth) for the deepest of relaxation. All levels are welcome to come and completely unwind. Be prepared to quiet your mind while you recharge your body.

 

ALL LEVEL YOGA

All level Yoga with awareness, will lead the beginner into proper movement and placement towards alignment, and takes the more seasoned practitioner towards greater understanding, better alignment and refinement of the poses. These classes are bold, strong, energetic, yet refreshing and restorative. All levels welcome.

 

PRIVATE/GROUP YOGA

All of our instructors are available for private and/or group yoga sessions at the studio, in your home, winery or venue of choice. A private yoga session is a great way to deepen or re-introduce you to your yoga practice. Group sessions are a wonderful way to practice together, bring health and calm to yourselves while visiting Healdsburg. RESTORATIVE YOGA

Restore. Relax. Renew. Enjoy these restorative poses that are held longer, allowing your body to melt into the while your mind remains calm. This nurturing and healing practice will leave you feeling relaxed, rejuvenated, spacious, balanced and centered. 60 minute class via zoom.

 

BARRE

With roots in ballet, yoga, Pilates, and functional muscle training, Barre class is an efficient 60-minute workout that targets the entire body though a sequence of small- and large-range movements with a focus on core conditioning and stability. Suitable for all levels, moms and moms-to-be welcome as well!

 

NIA DANCE

Nia is a fun and expressive cardiovascular dance fitness modality that utilizes dance, martial arts, and the healing arts for a comprehensive mind-body practice.  Focus includes The NiaTechnique, Pilates, Somatic/Sensory based movement modalities, Modern Dance philosophies, African and Caribbean Diasporic Dance traditions,  choreography development, empowerment practices through voice and movement work, and movement based artistry work for high level athletes and/or high performance level actors and artists.  All bodies and levels are celebrated in this class.

 

DANCE

YOC hosts numerous dance classes taught by the amazing teachers of the Healdsburg Dance Collective. Classes can include contemporary, ballet, African dance and more, offered to kids and adults. Visit our schedule to see the current dance offerings at YOC.

 

CORPORATE/WORKPLACE YOGA
