BRITTA FRIEND
Britta’s curious nature and passion for wellness led her to yoga. In an effort to keep her exercise routine diverse, she decided to try yoga at her local gym. What started as a physical routine quickly transformed into a ritual that simultaneously challenged and grounded her both physically and mentally. In 2018, Britta attended the Awakening Yoga Academy where she completed 500 hours of training and study under Patrick Beach and Carling Harps. Her training and experience has shaped Britta’s core teaching principles: “In my teaching, I encourage exploration and awareness by offering cohesive flows that support a strong, integrated practice. Everyday we come onto our mats, we have a blank canvas awaiting our beautiful expressions of breath and movement. My goal is to inspire my students to honor their uniqueness, to have curiosity about their practice and to be open to what shows up each time we meet on the mat.”
