Barbara is a committed yogini, staying dedicated to yoga both on and off the mat. As a former California state yoga champion, asana practice is one of her greatest passions, and she is always working to progress her own practice and pass these gifts on to her students. Her classes focus on aligning breath with building strength, flexibility and balance, while combining creative sequencing with positive energy and intention. As a yoga teacher, her greatest goal is to help her students realize what they are truly capable of, physically, mentally and emotionally. Barbara believes we practice the asanas to build the mind, body, breath connection that will lead to a deeper understanding of oneself and one’s body. Her classes focus on strengthening this connection to improve the physical, mental, emotional and spiritual bodies.
